OpenRC init file I wrote for thinkfan - A simple, lightweight fan control program for ThinkPads. Despite being advertised as simple, the configuration of thinkfan is quite complex, but it's fine-grained - that's what I like about it. If you want a more simple approach, you could try zcfan (I also wrote an openrc init script for zcfan, found here).

I added supervise-daemon support for easy managing the service.
The code of thinkfan-openrc can be found on my GitHub, or you can install it from the AUR.
